"i do enjoy this site and this service but there are so many other shows.please post more."

That comment seriously gets my WTF award for 2014. Considering almost every Dead show played and recorded from 65-95 is archived here----what planet are you on, DMT??

All I can hear is Bill Graham's jaded voice from the Fillmore......"More, more, more, more......."

Great recording, except that Jerry's guitar is often buried, but that may have been the venue or something. Good show.

Subject: LOVE it
Their concert experience still has not been equalled. Love great AUDs over SBDs any day.

What happened early in Alabama Getaway when the crowd went crazy and Jerry paused and faded out? Something on stage?? Do tell.

Subject: Excellent compliment to a rainy day
This sounds incredible in both the set list choices, recording and of course playing. Has to be my new favorite CC Rider, heck the whole first set is killer playing. Haven't gotten to the second set yet, can't wait. The boys are really into this one. It is the perfect compliment to my very rainy morning in SW Florida.

Subject: Laid my proposition down
They all seemed grateful that day after Christmas. Nice amount of audience in this crispy recording, replayed with the help of azimuth fine-tuning on the DR-1. I like the unusual set list. Great range of tempo...for example, from Jerry fanning the smokin' Fire, through a stompin' Sampson to a slo-mo, precise Ship of Fools. Thx to the Archive Curator for spotlighting this gift of a show today.

Subject: Frosty's Picks for the Hearing Impaired
I have major hearing problems. It’s called tinnitus and for those of you who don’t know it is a constant ringing in your ears. Therefore, it is hard for me to find audience shows that are of good enough quality for me to listen to without doing further damage to my hearing (by having to turn up the volume past 5 to even tell what song is being played!). I am not saying anything about these shows except that as a person with major hearing lose, these are some of the shows that I have on my I-Pod. Of course some are better than others. However, I am not giving any of these shows a review. I can always find something good in every show… long as I can hear it!!!! Here is my list for today, 9/20/08:

7.6.84, 10.15.84, 6.19.91,
7.18.89, 6.21.84, 9.6.85,
10.12.84, 10.12.83, 11.1.85,
8.24.85, 7.31.82, 6.25.92,
8.5.89, 10.31.83, 6.26.92,
10.8.84, 12.5.81, 8.30.85,
11.5.85, 6.26.84, 8.3.82,
6.8.80, 10.14.84, 8.10.82,
3.14.81, 12.26.80, 4.15.83,
4.18.82, 10.31.91, 9.2.85,
10.14.83, 4.2.90, 4.30.90,

Please let me know if you have any show suggestions that compare to these in quality of sound. Send suggestions to

Subject: True cure for a "case of the Monday's"
People always complain about Monday's. It's like on Office Space...after a while you get sick about hearing about Monday's. That said, I found a sure cure for those Monday morning blues.... an exciting Grateful Dead recording. This specific show is nothing short of impressive. From the get go we hear an fast paced highly jammable (both Jerry and Brent) Alabama Getaway and the energy continues throughout the whole first set. Second set light up with a good ole Scarlet/Fire combo and the jams keep on continueing until the US Blues encore. Sound quality is very clear audio. So, to rap this little review up, regardless to how you are spending your Monday morning (or any time or day), check out this show. You definitly will not regret it.
